Fulfillment Policy
How NorthHouse Digital delivers its services, processes payments, and handles cancellations and refunds.
1. Services Offered
NorthHouse Digital provides website modernization services to established businesses and growing brands:
- Foundation Build: ground-up website design and development up to 6 pages
- Full Modernization: complete website rebuild with strategic messaging, local SEO, and CRM integration
- Digital Presence Build: comprehensive engagement including website, content infrastructure, and extended support
- Monthly Care Plan: ongoing website maintenance, monitoring, and support
All engagements are initiated following a discovery conversation and a signed Client Services Agreement. Work does not begin until the agreement is signed and the deposit is received.
2. Payment Terms
- All project engagements require a 50% deposit at contract signing
- The remaining 50% is due at project launch
- Monthly Care Plan billing occurs on the 1st of each month via Stripe
- Accepted methods: ACH transfer, wire transfer, and Stripe
- Work pauses if final payment is not received within 5 business days of the agreed launch date
3. Project Delivery
NorthHouse Digital delivers all work digitally. Completed websites are launched to the client's domain or a staging environment for review. All project files and access credentials are delivered upon receipt of final payment.
Estimated timelines:
- Foundation Build: 3 to 4 weeks from kickoff
- Full Modernization: 4 to 6 weeks from kickoff
- Digital Presence Build: 6 to 10 weeks from kickoff
Timelines begin from the kickoff call and receipt of all required client materials. Delays caused by late delivery of client assets will extend the timeline accordingly.
4. Revisions
- Foundation Build: 2 rounds of revisions included
- Full Modernization: 3 rounds of revisions included
- Digital Presence Build: 3 rounds of revisions included
Additional revisions are billed at $250 per round and must be approved and paid before implementation.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing all required materials including login credentials, brand assets, content, and timely review and approval at each defined milestone.
6. Refund Policy
- The deposit is non-refundable once the project kickoff has occurred and work has begun
- If the client cancels after kickoff, NorthHouse Digital retains the deposit plus payment for all work completed
- If NorthHouse Digital cancels before work begins, the deposit will be refunded in full within 14 business days
- Monthly Care Plan subscriptions may be cancelled with 30 days written notice. Pre-paid amounts are non-refundable.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@northhousedigital.com.
7. Intellectual Property
All work product remains the intellectual property of NorthHouse Digital until final payment is received in full. Upon receipt of final payment, ownership transfers to the client as specified in the Client Services Agreement.
8. Disputes
In the event of a dispute both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication. Disputes are governed by the laws of the State of California.
